afternoons, after getting home from school over freshly prepared hot lunch
..that's when we would be watching captain majid on the tele. Kura a sarookhiya (
rocket kick :D) Bassam, yaseen, Omar, Basshar…all the characters just made this
animation a memorable one in the 90’s. It used to be funny how in the climax moments the kick and subsequent goal would just take ages to reach the net ...lol
Originally a Japanese cartoon but dubbed in
Arabic, I think this is one of the reasons my sister and I fell in love with
this sport at an early age.
